1. Wash, wash and away
Add a little water to a bowl in your sink and wash all your veggies at once. Not only does this save more water than using a colander but it also saves you time. You can reuse this water to water your plants too!
2. Load up
Have seconds and thirds, but make sure you fully load that dishwasher so you’re not unloading and reloading the machine all day, plus you’ll save 15 litres of water (and money on your heating bill) each time!
3. Shower time
If everyone in your household had 4-minute showers, not only will you save on arguments or queues for the bathroom but you’ll help save water. Check out our Spotify playlist for some top shower tunes here:

4. Refill, reuse, repeat
Get out those fancy glasses but why not decorate them with festive wine glass charms so everyone keeps to the same glass and tops up through the day. This saves on washing up and you’ve guessed it…water!
5. Chill out
Think about what you can store in the fridge or freezer to keep things nice and chilled. From the dog's water bowl in the freezer to cool your pup down, to a jug of water to save running the tap until it’s cool. This means everything’s to hand and it saves you time on the big day.
Water is a precious resource. Only 1% of the earth’s water is suitable for everyday use. Water’s worth saving. Help us to save water and help the environment. #everydropcounts
